Thanks to ABA, Charlie has learned to communicate basic needs using an AAC device, he’s also learning self-care skills and safety. There’s never any punishment, and his therapists are like family. ABA isn’t about making an autistic person “non-autistic”, it’s about giving people with autism a chance at learning skills that many take for granted like communication, safety and self-care skills.
